Getting started
Add a bill, record a payment and find your way around HomeWeal.
Add your first bill
Create a bill with its amount type, currency, due date and frequency. Use Variable when the amount changes; an unknown amount can stay blank.
Check your household day to day
Use Overview to review commitments, record bills you already paid, and keep everyday purchases up to date on Spending.
Install HomeWeal on your phone
Open your household ledger like an app, without an app store.
Find a bill in a searchable picker
When a control includes a search field, type part of the bill’s name to narrow its options. Log payment is one example.
Household timezone
One clock for the whole household.
Find a setting
Open Settings and use Search settings to narrow the tab list. The five groups organize account, preferences, money, data and billing controls.
Choose your Overview widgets
Use Customize on Overview to hide or restore widgets for your own account. Hiding a widget does not delete its data.
Log a bill payment
Record a payment you have already made. Counts toward chooses which month’s bill receives it; Paid date records when you paid. Logging a payment records it in your ledger.
Log a one-time expense
Record an everyday purchase on Spending, separately from a recurring bill.
