Find a bill in a searchable picker

In short

When a control includes a search field, type part of the bill’s name to narrow its options. Log payment is one example.

Choose a bill

  1. Open Log payment without a preselected bill and open its Bill picker.
  2. Type part of the name or the displayed secondary text.
  3. Select the matching bill, or use the arrow keys and Enter. Check its name before recording the payment.

Keyboard controls

The search field receives focus when this picker opens. Arrow keys change the highlight, Enter selects and Escape closes it. Not every dropdown is a searchable picker: Add funds selects a goal, and the split editor already belongs to a bill.
