Use observations from your ledger

Check an observation

1. On Overview, find Smart insights when available. Read the observations and select Sources for the linked records.
2. On Insights, find Household brief and select Details for additional observations, the recorded-data window, source links and feedback controls.
3. Open the linked records before changing a bill, budget or plan. On Insights, use the feedback controls if an observation is surprising.

When AI is unavailable

The brief can show verified observations when AI selection is unavailable. HomeWeal calculates amounts, dates and links from supported records. An observation does not establish a bank balance or explain something you have not recorded.

Payment patterns

Insights also has a separate Payment patterns feature. Its observations are not the same as the Household brief. Do not assume a fixed list of thresholds or a once-per-period schedule for every observation.
