Open Statements to find imports that need review, work in progress, and settled statements. This sample statement has already been imported. Files expire after thirty days; settled ledger records remain.
Open the statement to continue where you left off. Check the account label, review dates, and settled count. A possible match needs a decision; it is not automatically a new expense.
Choose Change dates to include an earlier purchase. Review the From and To dates, then save. Changing the review window does not delete purchases you already added.
For a new purchase, check its name and category before selecting Add. Use Link it only when the row is the same purchase you already recorded. Exclude a row you do not want to add.
The settled count updates as you decide each row. Return to Statements to see the current progress, then check Spending for the expense you added. Reopening the statement keeps those decisions.

Before you start
The Statements inbox requires Pro or Family and permitted owner/editor access. Viewers cannot use it. Import actions also depend on current availability. The inbox is for records you bring in by hand, not a bank connection.
Resume a review
- Open Statements in the menu’s Track section.
- Check the account label, last digits when shown, date range, available-until date and review progress. Use All, Needs review, In progress, Settled or Expired to narrow the list.
- Open the intended statement and inspect Possible matches, New rows and earlier decisions. Add, link or leave a row for later only after checking it.
- Use Back to Statements to return to the inbox. Check the resulting records in Spending or payment History.
Change the review window
- In an unexpired statement, select Change dates.
- Set From and To, read what happens to the rows, then select Apply dates.
- Review the refreshed groups and counts. Rows previously added, linked or excluded keep their decisions; rows outside the window are hidden rather than deleted. Widening can bring eligible rows back into review. Rows left for now remain in that list.
Expiry and recorded payments
Check the displayed expiry; statement files are available for 30 days. Expired statements cannot accept new decisions: import again if needed, checking for existing records first. Already settled rows are kept. Record payment on a bill-related row opens the payment form with available bill, amount and date details; inspect Counts toward before saving so it credits the right billing month.
