Export CSV or JSON data
Use Settings → Data & export for the household ledger available to your account, or use a page’s Export menu for its filtered CSV or JSON records.
Before you start
Export is available on every plan. Your role and bill visibility can limit the records included. Export before deleting records you need to retain; the app does not promise indefinite retention after cancellation.
Export the household ledger
- Open Settings → Data & export.
- Choose Export everything (CSV) or Export everything (Excel).
- Open the downloaded files and check that the expected tables and records are present.
Filtered page exports
Use a page’s Export menu for the records that page offers, such as the current History filters. CSV is suitable for spreadsheets; JSON is available on supported page menus for structured records. Settings does not offer a full-household JSON button.
What files contain
Household exports include the supported ledger tables permitted for your account, with separate worksheets in Excel. Attachment records are metadata, not copies of the attached files. Save any documents you need separately.
